Global production and multimedia company We Are The Mighty acquires innovative event company Military Influencer to better serve the military community

LOS ANGELES, CA NOVEMBER 22, 2021 -- Military production company, We Are The Mighty (WATM), announced a new partnership with MILITARY INFLUENCER, INC (MIC) to grow and scale events connecting companies, entrepreneurs and the military community.

“We have been an active participant and supporter of the Military Influencer Conference since their first event in Dallas nearly five years ago,” WATM President and Air Force veteran Mark Harper explained. “Joining forces with Military Influencer gives us the ideal partner to build a world-class event business.”

“As a founder,” Riggs said, “you know when you are operating outside of your existing skills. I started to realize that in early 2020. I knew the brand could grow to be an SXSW that serves the military community, where we have a conference, large-scale supplier-diversity trade show, with an emphasis on helping service members transition into entrepreneurship or find their way to a meaningful career. The event could culminate with a comedy night, movie releases and more.”

In addition to hosting an annual conference, Military Influencer creates and distributes the flagship publication for veteran entrepreneurs: Military Influencer Magazine.

Army veteran and Military Influencer founder Curtez Riggs will continue as President of Military Influencer. “We know that WATM leads the digital publishing space in engagement and quality of content. They honor service in everything they do,” Riggs said. “I cannot imagine a better group to scale our publishing efforts and to grow our events business. The Military Influencer Conference will be held in Las Vegas, NV, in fall 2022.
